In-situ cell Gassing Analyzer In-Situ Cell Swelling Testing System

The In-Situ Cell Swelling Testing System is based on a creative synchronous multi-channel mechanism and a new fully closed-loop intelligent servo control system. It integrates high-precision displacement, voltage, current, pressure, temperature and humidity core sensors to achieve expansion force and thickness change detection under simulated constant gap, constant pressure, mixed mode and real battery working conditions.

背景

The current in-situ expansion fixture is a necessary solution for battery cycle testing, which is mainly used to simulate the constant gap usage state of the battery cell in the module and PACK, but the effectiveness and reliability of the actual effect of the fixture are ignored.

·The constant gap expansion force of the fixture is much smaller than the actual constant gap expansion force value (as shown below);

·It is impossible to obtain the test conditions under different constant pressures;

·The expansion thickness value cannot be directly obtained and needs to be disassembled for destructive measurement;

测试原理

By applying constant pressure or constant gap to the battery cell, using thickness and pressure sensors to monitor the initial thickness, thickness change and pressure change of the battery cell during the charge and discharge cycle, the in-situ test of the battery cell expansion thickness and expansion force can be achieved.

Measurement Mode

1746775742609680.jpg

·The test system realizes the following functions (similar to battery charging and discharging, CC+CV mode, Step Charge mode);

·Load pressure at different rates to the target pressure, keep the target pressure for a certain time, record the corresponding information, and complete the test;
